Overview

Product teams planning in Confluence cannot get a reliable roadmap chart: the incumbent Gantt app crashes and loses their work, and the work week is forced to Monday instead of their custom start, so schedules are wrong and hours are lost.

Key Features

• The app is listed on the Atlassian Marketplace with a valid manifest, privacy policy, and support contact, and installs into a Confluence instance.
• The app renders a Gantt chart from the JSON attachment on the current Confluence page.
• When the user selects a work-week start day other than Monday, the gridlines and task bars shift so that the selected day is the first column, and the setting persists after a page reload.
• If auto-save fails, the app shows an error message and keeps the current chart data in memory until the user retries or restores from the last saved attachment.
• The manual restore action replaces the chart data with data from a selected JSON attachment and shows an on-screen confirmation.
• Tenant A cannot retrieve Tenant B's chart data by direct URL, by API call with Tenant B's install ID, by export, or from a shared cache; all storage reads are scoped to the app installation ID and the current page's principal.
• Uninstalling the app removes its attachments and settings from that Confluence instance.
• The export action returns a JSON file containing only the requesting tenant's chart data, and the erase action deletes that tenant's stored data.
