Software Test Track&Run for Jira (Test Case Management)

QA engineers and dev teams on Jira cannot run, track, and report on software test cases without leaving Jira or installing an app that locks them out with license errors, broken uninstalls, or access failures. No reliable, lightweight option exists between spreadsheet chaos and the operational failures of Zephyr and Xray.

What it does:

• A user can create, read, update, and delete test cases linked to a Jira project without leaving the Jira UI.
• A user can record a test execution result (Pass, Fail, Blocked) against a test case and see the result immediately reflected in the test run view.
• A test run history panel shows all previous execution results for a given test case, ordered by date, without a page reload.
• No tenant's test case data is readable by another tenant via direct URL, API call, export, or any shared cache — confirmed by attempting cross-tenant data access with two distinct Jira Cloud instances.
• Uninstalling the app removes all customer data from Atlassian storage within 24 hours, verifiable via the data export before and after.
• A user can export all their test case and execution data as a downloadable CSV from the app settings panel.

What it does not do:

• Marketplace listing within 30 days: Atlassian security review queue is 2–4 weeks; listing approval is outside the builder's control.
• Test automation integration (CI/CD triggers, JUnit/XML import): out of scope for first listing.
• AI-generated test cases, natural-language test authoring, or any LLM feature.
• On-premise or Jira Data Center support: Forge targets Cloud only.
